Friday Night Chill

Start your weekend off with a relaxing and playful evening in our clay studio. Learn some basics about throwing on the potter's wheel, use various tools and molds to create a hand-built project or select a piece of bisque and sit and glaze.

Bring in ideas, pictures of items you might want to try to make - we'll show you how you might accomplish your project. Tools, glazes, bisque piece or clay - plus kiln firings - are included.

Pizza is provided - let us know your preferences and we'll make sure we get a pie for you. Bring your own adult beverages if you wish!

$25 per person.

Potter's Wheel Basics

This class is designed for those with minimal or no experience at the potter's wheel.  Our instructors will assess your current skillset and develop a plan to help you meet your goals.  The Studio at BCS is an easy-going environment and we'll make sure you'll have fun while learning the wheel! Classes are $40 per session and you can purchase a Class 6-Pack: 6 classes for the price of 5 ($200).  You do not have to take classes in consecutive weeks - fit them into your schedule as time allows.

Teacher's Time Out is a monthly gathering of K-12 art educators at BCS. We'll explore the use of prodcut, talk fundraising ideas, studio best practices - topics that relate to ceramics in ELHI school programs.

Snack and Beverages will be provided - occasionally we'll offer special purchases and deals. 

Sessions run from 5-7pm. For art educators exclusively.

Raku Friday Nights

Join us for Raku Friday Nights, held the last Friday of the month - weather permitting!

$25 per person. We'll provide pizza - you bring whatever you wish to drink (adult beverages OK) and your bisqueware to be fired.

You can bring your ware already glazed or use our studio glazes, including Mayco's Raku glazes. You can also select pieces from our bisque collection to raku - just pay for the bisque.

"General" Ware Restrictions: 72 square inches maximum - one 12" x 6" piece, two 6" x 6" pieces. We have several kilns and fire 4 to 5 during the event. Depending on the number of people who attend we may have to manage how many pieces per person we can do.
